  1.                      RECOMENDATIONS
  2.  
  3. - BEFORE the installation of  S.T.O.P.S. check your drive for viruses.
  4. - Run the SCANDISK program to fix existing errors.
  5. - Remove files you do not use from the root directory of C: drive.
  6. - Close all running programs.
  7.  
  8. - Run A:\STOPS32.EXE.
  9. - Before rebooting remove the diskette from the floppy drive.
  10. - Change BOOT SEQUENCE to "C:, A:, ..." in CMOS Setup.
  11. - Protect your CMOS Setup with a password.
  12. - When using FDISK or FORMAT utilities for drive C: it's recommended 
  13.   that S.T.O.P.S. is removed, and then installed again after using these 
  14.   utilities.
  15. - If you don't remove S.T.O.P.S. use "FORMAT C: /S" to ensure the 
  16.   operating system is reloaded.
  17. - If you YOU BOOT FROM THE FLOPPY and have S.T.O.P.S. already installed on 
  18.   your computer you won't be able to find drive C:. This is normal for 
  19.   S.T.O.P.S. installed. Don't worry and don't try to correct this situation - 
  20.   you won't be able to remove S.T.O.P.S. but you can seriously damage 
  21.   information on hard drive. JUST REBOOT FROM C:
  22. - To access C: we would recommend that you uninstall S.T.O.P.S. with the 
  23.   SAME Installation diskette you used to install it. You MUST remember 
  24.   the serial code you used to install it or otherwise it will not uninstall.
